We are currently looking to recruit into our Business Services department here in Harrogate. The role will include regular processing and preparation of reports and returns on behalf of our clients along with developing this arm of our business, encompassing:

  • Payroll
  • Auto-enrolment
  • Bookkeeping
  • VAT returns
  • Management accounts
  • Accounts to trial balance

The successful applicant will have:

  • Strong payroll processing and management skills along with experience of statutory notices and deductions
  • High level of IT skills to include experience with:
  • Sage Accounts
  • Freeagent
  • Sage Payroll
  • Microsoft Office (Word, Excel & Outlook)
  • Good client-facing, telephone and e-mail manner
  • A high level of attention to detail is required
  • Drive and pro-active attitude to develop the department
  • Likely to be AAT qualified, but experience and pro-activity is essential

  • Immediate start
  • Role may involve working at client premises, so driving license essential
  • Full time (37.5 hours per week), permanent position
