Due Diligence

We prepare reports, which focus on areas of particular interest. The most common form of investigation is carried out in relation to a proposed acquisition or investment in a company or business.

Our role in these circumstances is to review the financial records of the target and provide the potential acquirer/investor with information about the target company upon which to base the investment decision.
During this process:

  • We work with our client to identify issues of concern whether of a commercial or tax nature and help them understand these issues.
  • Using information available publicly and that gleaned from our investigations, we will produce a comprehensive report.
  • We will identify potential risk areas and highlight these for further action.
  • We will recommend input to the investment or acquisition agreement being drafted by your lawyer.
  • We WON’T sit on the fence.
