A Brief History of DSC Chartered Accountants, Harrogate, North Yorkshire
DSC Chartered Accountants can trace its roots back well over 50 years and one of its earliest partners was a Mr Henry Moore admitted to the Institute of Chartered Accountants in 1917. The firm changed its name a number of times during its history and its partners have included Clifford Free, David Smith (1963-1977), Gordon Crosswaite (1970-1991), Chris Rushton (1977-2006) and Simon Pease (2001-2010). John Campbell became a partner in 1987 and is currently the managing director of the company. The current DSC Chartered Accountants was founded in 1991 and on 1 April 2011 it changed its legal form to become DSC Accountants Limited. The current three directors are John Campbell, John Garbutt and Graham French and now run the company from its new premises at Tattersall House, East Parade, Harrogate, North Yorkshire, HG1 5LT.
The firm operated for many years at 4 Princes Square in Harrogate and its services have expanded over the years to include accountancy services, corporation tax compliance, personal tax compliance, VAT, corporate tax planning, personal tax planning, business advisory services, payroll bureau, bookkeeping services.
We now have more than 17 team members each providing professional services to our expanding client portfolio.
