Accounts Turnaround

At DSC we are continually striving to improve the level and quality of the service we provide to our clients. We have always aimed to not only meet our clients’ expectations in this area, but to exceed them. As part of these procedures, just over a year ago we decided to examine ways in which we could further improve the speed in which we prepare our clients’ year-end accounts.

For the year ended 31 March 2008 we set out to improve “accounts turnaround times” by at least 10% on the year before. By “accounts turnaround times” we mean the length of time it takes us to prepare our clients’ accounts from the moment our clients’ books are received to the date final accounts are delivered.

We are pleased to report that we succeeded in achieving our mission statement in that not only did we meet our target of improving accounts turnaround times by 10%, but we exceeded it. On average, for the year ended 31 March 2008, our accounts turnaround times were 25% quicker than the year before!

Although we are absolutely delighted with the results achieved, we do not intend to relax and rest on our laurels. For the year ended 31 March 2009 we intend to make further improvements in our accounts turnaround times. We will publish the results this time next year!
