Leaders all around the world are being trained to develop their emotional intelligence skills. But why?

The reason may be viewed as simply that organisations now appreciate that the way that employees are treated significantly affects their bottom-line – profit. But it is more than this. People want to work in organisations where they are treated fairly, sympathetically, and as individuals. And this will only happen if leaders embrace and constantly enhance their personal emotional intelligence.

There is therefore now an agreed understanding that emotional intelligence is the key to both personal and professional success. This starts with the fundamental building block of a clear understanding of ourselves.

 And this is why, through our November business seminar we are very keen to embrace and explore this topic with you. To help us, we have invited an expert guest speaker, who has provided leadership training to people all around the world, to examine why improved emotional intelligence is vital for your business.

Tony Swainston has dedicated his working life to studying, understanding and applying powerful leadership principles across a range of organisations within the public and private sectors. He has worldwide experience in training people in coaching and leadership in over 20 countries, and in October and November this year he will be in Saudi Arabia, Kuala Lumpur, and Dubai, sharing his ideas with many business professionals.

Tony is the author of several books including “A Mindset for Success” and “The 7 Cs of Leadership Success” and we are delighted that he will be joining us for our November event.
